TETO: LGBTQ+Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Gender Expression!
Parents and Supportive adults, we invite you to join us in this gathering space for an open and honest dialogue about sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. As parents, we want to do everything in our power to make sure our children grow up happy, healthy, and safe. We do our best, and for our LGBTQ+ kids we have to learn a little more to ensure their happiness, health, and safety. This webinar will give you straightforward answers along with resources and a panel of parents of LGBTQ+ youth who will share their stories and their wisdom.
The featured speaker for this webinar will be Kim Phillips-Knope, Project Lead, Michigan Department of Education, LGBTQ+ Students Project. This webinar will be moderated by Barb Flis, Founder of Parent Action for Healthy Kids and creator of Talk Early & Talk Often.
Will this webinar be recorded for future viewing? I would love to see it but my kid’s are busy in athletics. I’d like to be put on any email lists you have as well.
